The BULLDOG STRIKE SENSOR is really a bushing with adjustable tension to allow you to fish from a small bait to a large bait.  Don’t stop there we use it on planer boards, down riggers, sail fish and musky lures.

The  tension is controlled by the center top bolt and bellville washers.  Adjust the

tension for less or more resistance.  If too much or too little tension increase

or decrease the bellville washer thickness. 

Your strike sensor comes

with standard medium tension bellville washers. The standard washers covers most applications.  Contact your local hardware dealer for lighter or heavier washers

to adjust tension.

The system works a lot like your

fishing reel drag.

We use a magnetic reed switch and 2 coin cell batteries to power the sensor.
