The Bulldog Strike Sensor can be used for trolling and live bait rigging.

When trolling at speed we set the tension on the strikes sensor to off set the speed and adjust for wave action.  In many cases when running thru a school of dolphins it does not take long for the fish to be hooked in the corner of the mouth.

When live bait rigging we set the strike sensor on a light setting and off set it from the dead stop 2-3 inches.  This allows the fish to take the bait and when it hits the dead stop the fish is usually hooked in the corner of the mouth.
