24″ Scalper & 11″ Scalperator¶
24″ Scalper and 24″ Scalperator Low Profile
The Carter Day 24″ Scalper provides high-capacity removal of roughage, straw, and other oversized materials from incoming cereal grains. Product passes through a rotating wire mesh scalping reel that separates unwanted material while allowing properly sized grain to continue through the machine. A sand screen is also incorporated into the design for additional cleaning.
The 24″ Scalperator Low Profile incorporates the same scalping features as the 24″ Scalper, with the addition of aspiration to remove lightweight material such as chaff and fines. This combination provides efficient removal of both oversized and lightweight material in a compact, low-profile design.

11″ Scalperator
The Carter Day 11″ Scalperator combines scalping, rescalping, and aspiration in a single machine for high-capacity removal of roughage, oversized material, light fines, and chaff. Incoming cereal grains pass through a rotating wire mesh scalping reel to remove roughage and other oversized material. A secondary rescalping reel recovers good grain from the overs, while high-volume aspiration removes lightweight material.
